Description: 
These values were calculated from Household surveys that were administered in 613 households in Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, and Odisha states in India during June–October 2013. Within the states, the surveys were carried out in rural and peri-urban areas where families use solid biomass fuel for cooking. The three states were selected to include different weather conditions, food habits, and biomass availability for cooking in different locations.
